Nowhere but Here

,

They say, “Go out and live your life,” as if life is hiding behind a tree or buried beneath rocks. But life is nowhere.

The kind of life I want doesn’t exist out there. And the kind of life everyone else is living — that’s theirs. It has nothing to do with me.

My life is within me. I created it, and I am living it. It exists in everything I do, in every thought I think, in every emotion that rises within me. My life isn’t separate from me; it is me.

This world creates an illusion when it says, “Go out and live”, which really means, do what we’re doing. But this time, I won’t fall for it. Now I know that an entire world exists within me. I am happy with it. I live in it. I create in it.

My world is richer, deeper, and more meaningful than the one outside. It holds more wonder, more quiet adventure. And honestly, I no longer know what to do with this big outer world. It feels distant, like it was never meant for me. Somewhere along the way, I lost interest in it.

But sometimes, I still step out of my world and into this one not to live in it, but to observe. To be entertained. Because in the end, this world is just a stage. And I am merely the audience.
