A Chapter Ends

,

Seven years ago, I made a decision and chose the science stream, like most Indian students do after the 10th grade. Last week, my graduation results came in. I passed.

In these seven years, I’ve learned a lot. It was like a roller coaster ride — happy, sad, failed, depressed, frustrated, motivated, satisfied. I’ve felt every emotion.

I realised that science isn’t my passion. It’s just my hobby. I like reading science books. I still want to read them, but not under the pressure of marks.

That’s why I’m letting it go.

The journey of science was a beautiful chapter in my life, but now it’s closed. Another chapter will open soon.

Thank you.
