Stop Scratching Old Wounds

,

You keep reminding yourself of what you need to forget. It’s like scratching an old wound — feeling the pain over and over again. How will you ever heal that way?

Healing takes time, not repetition. It needs silence, not self-blame. You need to stop reopening what’s already trying to close.

Give yourself time. Give yourself peace. Shift your focus from hurting to healing, from reliving to rebuilding. Let growth become your new direction.

Create new memories — slowly, gently. And one day, those old, painful ones will fade on their own.

    1. Well, It’s true. Not all memories fade away but yes, with time we grow and those memories become less effective and it can only happen if we stop scratching them.
