I want to breathe, but I can’t. It feels like I’m underwater, deep under the sea. I try to go up, but something pushes me down. Everything blurs, and I stop trying to save myself. My mind goes numb. I want to take breaths… maybe the last ones. It feels like everything is ending.
I woke up in fear. Not again those nightmares. It was the second attempt to sleep that night.
Depression feels like this: sinking in the sea. You want to fight for your life, but something invisible holds you down.
