Today I’m sad because my mom threw out my favourite old shoes.
They didn’t fit anymore, useless, maybe, but they were still my favourites. Do you have things like that, too old, unfit, but loved anyway?
My mom said, “If I’d tossed them earlier, you wouldn’t feel this bad,” and… she might be right.
If I think a little deeper, some people are like our favourite old, unfit shoes. We love them, but they no longer fit our lives. Over time, people change their priorities and choices, and suddenly they don’t fit the way they used to. It happens to everyone. Don’t worry.
The question is: what do we do then?
Do we leave them not “throw,” that sounds rude and make space for new people?
Or do we keep trying to force the fit?
Ask yourself honestly. Different people have different situations, so think carefully before you choose.
